Ah, the end of the world. What a refreshingly new topic to discuss...NOT. I think that for as long as people have been able to grasp the concept of death, there has been speculation as to just how the world as we know it will come to an end. Meteorites are somewhat plausible, especially considering that it is almost impossible for us to predict the behavior of these things in space. There was a meteor several years back that almost struck Earth, and it was certainly large enough to cause wide-spread damage if it had, that we did not even detect until it had missed us. An unpredictable threat such as this is highly likely to be "the end of it all" as we wouldn't even know what was going on until it was too late.

More behind cut because I wrote an essay. )

I think I would like Question to help me. I like that he doesn't have a face :D Also, in the JLU cartoon, he was voiced by the Jeffrey Combs, who plays Weyoun on DS9 (another favorite).

Oh. My. Gawd. I love el chupacabra. Call it the Mexican in me, but I cannot get enough of this little guy. I think he's so cool. Plus, he's a great scape goat. I blame everything on the chupacabra. ;) I mean, don't get me wrong. Bigfoot's okay. The Yeti's fairly interesting. Nessie is very cute. But el chupacabra....aw man. I don't think I can possibly explain how cool he is.

Take, for instance, his origin. No one knows where he came from. It's very possible he's a mutated dog. He could be a new species. He might even be an alien. There's no possible way of knowing. Plus, scientists have actually examined carcasses that were possible chupacabras. No one can yet claim that about Bigfoot. They have foot "models," but no actual possible bodies. (And yes, I am aware that all of the bodies were not actual chupa-thingies. Still, it's very cool.)

I also think it's so cool that accounts of el chupacabra are so greatly similar and that they have originated from an area that isn't so widespread. When I hear all about Bigfoot, his (their?) territory seems to stretch on and on and on! That seems so unlikely that the same sort of animal has lived in all of this land with no one ever catching anything but a foot print. And with Nessie and Champ--there have been so many expeditions exploring the bottoms of these lakes...surely a creature would have been found. Nessie and Champ don't exist. They are fables, and I can't feel any sort of passion for them. But el chupacabra lives in a set region and has a set diet. This makes him more realistic and believable for me. I cannot have any faith in something that I am certain doesn't exist.

I also just absolutely love saying "el chupacabra." Has a nice ring to it, yanno?

Ah geez!!! Now I'm on an el chupacabra kick! I've got the words floating around inside my brain and my whole body feels charged and ready to go. He's my muse, my very reason for existing is simply to live long enough to find out whether or not he's just an elaborate hoax or something more substantial. (Haha...oh the religious connotations!)

Harvey Dent gives me hope for the future. Harvey Dent can stop crime and take back Gotham. With Harvey Dent as District Attorney, no one has to fear the world outside his or her front door. Harvey Dent will ensure that we all have a future to look forward to--a future without crime. Hope comes in handfuls--handfuls handed out by Harvey Dent.

Also, having the Batman around sure does help. :p

XD Can you tell I am looking forward to this movie???

Yes. The same person with whom I celebrated her birthday yesterday. But even if her apologizing couldn't fix it, I would still go to her if she needed me. That's just the way I am. I wish there were some way I could get that across to her, without her having to know how angry and frustrated I am with the way she treats me. I couldn't ignore her just because I'm angry at her. It's against my nature. No matter what I feel towards her, I'll be there for her.

It's strange that this is the prompt Sarah chose to write about. When I saw it, I was reminded of a dream I had last night. I was with Mark, and something had happened to her, and I dropped everything to go to her. On the way there, Mark asked me why I was going, since she hadn't been treating me well. I told him it was because no matter what, she was still my friend. Even if she had done awful things to me, I was going to go to her because she needed me and I wouldn't be able to live with myself if anything happened to her and I wasn't there.

Well, I'm hitting up all of my closest FRIENDS, because everyone loves getting compliments. ^_^

Ben - So nice and caring and such a good person. A living saint. I wish I had half the kindness in my heart that he does now because then I would be a better person by about 2000%.

Beth - She's so talented and pretty and smart! I wish I had her fashion sense.

Cindy - You're my loli idol! I've only seen you dressed up a few times, but you look so great. When I saw you at the the Galleria meet up, you were wearing one of my favorite Meta prints. And, as dorky as this is, I want to be just like you when I grow up! XD

Kammie - She makes the cutest jewelry and has some of the best coordinates I've ever seen!

Kim - Another really talented person! She made me a little strawberry mobile charm that I absolutely fell in love with. I also bought an overcoat dress from her that is soooo comfy to wear! She's a great seamstress.

Sarah - Ugh. Sarah. I hate you. You can cook and you have great clothes and you are so together it is disgusting. I wish I had had even half the direction you have now when I was your age. Plus I want your dog. and your loli stuff and your cooking skills and your Vivienne and your....

OMG con was great...about that later though. I'm too tired to think and I've got several things I've got to type up for deviantart.
