Okay, so my throat is sore, I'm tired as all hell, and my body aches like never before--I feel like shit. I love it.
Prom was fun...I loved it. The punch was bad, my shoes hurt, I didn't know how to really dance to all the ghetto rap music, but it was fun. They did actually play some good music ("Every time we touch" rocks my world) and the food wasn't completely gross and Keri did get her purse back. And even though Travis has absolutely no rhythm...I'm not that great of a dancer myself, so we are well-suited. Actually, I don't think I've ever had this much fun at a dance before. He was really sweet and even thought I originally didn't want one, the corsage he got me was absolutely lovely and divine and perfect and beautiful. He was so sweet and considerate and I'm glad I was able to spend the evening with him. And all night. And all morning...Dammit I want to sleep! Not that I haven't, I just haven't slept as much as I would have liked. I'm looking forward to seeing Spider Man 3 with him tonight, too.
Everyone looked so pretty too. Beth was a vision. Keri looked divine. Melissa looked downright elegant. The list goes on and on. Other people looked nice too, but my brain is a little smashed right now and I really can't think about any more adjectives so whatever....
It was really pretty there. I did feel awkward in my dress though. I think it would have been cool if I had been in a tux but I did enjoy getting dolled up (after I had a little emotional breakdown, that is). Bah, I'll admit it, I loved it!
So thank you everyone for an amazing time (that goes doubly for you Trav) it'll make a great memory for me to forget when I'm old and suffering from Alzheimer's...
