So far my birthday has been pretty amazing. Which is weird because usually my birthdays suck for some reason..... -.-; It started out with my brother waking up insanely early so that he could make me breakfast in bed. Which, now that I think about it is really weird because he never cooks for me. He usually just says that I should cook it myself and then grabs me and throws me out of the room quite rudely. It sucks being small. But, yeah...he made me breakfast and brought it to me in bed. It was eggs and bacon--exactly the way I like them. :D He's so darling when he wants to be.

I rang in my birthday at about midnight/1 o'clock-ish by watching Star Trek Voyager and DS9 on Spike TV and then fell asleep listening to the music videos on VH1. I slept splendidly.

I really don't feel 18 yet, though. I feel...3? Or, at least, younger than 16. Perhaps 14? I don't know. I just don't feel legal yet. I feel as if, come the 27th, I'll be going into high school. And not as a senior, either, but a freshman. I don't feel as if I'm going to be starting college soon at all. It's....weird to say the least. And unnerving.

Anyways, last night I learned how to parallel park. My mom's friend had to teach me because my mother doesn't actually know how. It's...pretty frightening. I think I'll be avoiding that for a very long while. I'll be getting my license soon. I've put it off as long as I could, I'm really just very lazy and like to be driven around...but seeing as I'll be starting school soon, I've got to get it done because my mom will be working and won't have time to baby her little college freshman. Pity. I'm not looking forward to having to park and then walk all that long way to my classes. It would have been nice to have been dropped off at the front like in elementary school. Oh well.
