Day 06 – Your day, in great detail, part two

After my break I clocked in and bought some gum and then went back to my boxes. Tagged costumes, checked e-mail, tagged more costumes, put them back in the box and moved it so it blocked me from Steve's line of sight even more (idiot douche was painting the dressing rooms but didn't bother to prime the wood beforehand). Then Joe snuck up on me and asked to go on break. Blah blah blah, I went back to my boxes.

Cathy went and got back from her break. I chopped my hand open and bled all over the place. Luckily I had a MLP bandaid in my Filofax. Bandaged up my wee finger and then barked at my employees a bit. Made a copy of the cleaning chart and reconciled two registers. Walked the store and made sure they had cleaned properly while making lewd jokes and giving Joe a hard time. Let them go then sat with Cathy in the office waiting for Chris to get back from his break while I spun around on the roll-y chair. Tried helping one of the new-ish girls find some tablecovers and napkins that were no home merch. Chris got back and he gave me a handful of Whataburger coupons and I pulled Kayla's hair once more before leaving.

RAIN WHY WAS IT RAINING ARGH.

Drove home, praying my super old windshield wipers didn't break (I really need to get those replaced). Got home and petted Berniebear and got dressed. Blue/white/black dress with white and black leopard print lame leggings and black boots with a black jacket. Sat down and waited for Gene to show up. Almost fell asleep. Picked up at 6:14 pm with red roses and a card waiting for me in Gene's van. Went to Saltgrass Steakhouse and nommed the steak and talked the talk. Had another pina colada. Drove home and was offered a TRIP ANYWHERE I WANT TO GO. He suggested Europe and/or DC + Mass. and I'm debating between the latter or California. Said good night and came home and cut flowers and put them in a vase. Brother left me a book (Eat, Pray, Love). Talked on the phone with Lauren and Peri and was incredibly awkward (I suck at phones, sorry) and then Mom came home and we talked while I played with Legos. Typed up the first half of this thing and went to bed really insanely happy.
