Because I got so sick of titling everything with a bunch of "BLAH"s. I need to work on my creativity.

I really regret not participating in Screnzy this year. I mean, yeah it's been good for my stress level, and it's been nice having free time on my hands, but not doing NaNoWriMo and now not doing Screnzy has left me feeling like a useless blob. I've been trying to write, but I get these great ideas and just can't finish them. Add into that the fact that my hands and back have been bothering me, and I've just been one giant lunk of anti-productivity. I hate it.

The new job's going alright so far. It's really boring and I hate that I'm pretty much going to be stuck cashiering the whole time, but whatev. PAYCHECK. Since this is a temp gig, and I'm not even sure how long it's for (they were very vague, at first I was told a month, then I was told until fall), I'm going to apply for other positions and cross my fingers. I do like that I can wear skirts though. I've had such pretty skirts, with no where to wear them. And it's really nice to be able to wear nice shoes and to be somewhere where I won't come home stinking like boxes and sweat.

I want to start up violin lessons again over the summer, so I need to get my ass in gear and find a teacher. I don't want to go to my last one because it would be really awkward to tell her that I didn't keep up with it like I promised her I would. I'd feel bad for having to come clean about that. I'd also like to start running over the summer, but we'll see what my health says about that one.

My first paycheck's coming up in about a week, and I'm taking it straight to the pet store so that I can get my hammy. I've decided. A Robo dwarf with a cage with lots of tubes. I'm going to hold off on buying him a play pen, because I'd rather make sure his cage has a lot of exercise room in case I'm not home to put him in his ball when he gets restless. Well, I guess him or her. I'm not really sure how to tell gender in hamsters, so I'm really going to try to stick with a gender-neutral name. I'm so excited~ Another furry friend to play with. :3
