So I posted a screenshot of some of my notes for startrek_diary and Pixy mentioned she wanted to see ALL of them. I....had not realized I had so many notes. XD But I guess that just goes to show how much these people have grown on me. A year ago, I never would have thought that I'd ever role play, and now it's a daily occurrence. And a lot of these people have become really good friends. I love them all very much.

If you're curious, I use Microsoft One Note for my notes. I'd never really used it before, but I really like how it's set up. It allows you to have separate notebooks for each Big Project and then within each notebook you have sections and pages within those sections. Plus, ever text box and image is contained within a movable module and you can control what sits on top of what. It's very handy and I like it a lot. Pixy bemoaned the fact that it wasn't Mac friendly, but I think she said she was able to find one to download. She asked to see some of my more detailed notes, and to see what I had on some of her characters, so here it is.

First off, I'd like to apologize because I was too lazy to get up and get my tablet, so all of this writing is done with the mouse. Here you can see the list of all of our games, with the descriptions of them. At the tabs on top, I've got everything divided out: HSAU's for the links to the games, Cast for a (very out-dated) list of who plays whom, Characters for bios and character notes, and Fanmixes for a list of the fanmixes I've made for std (that's mostly there so I would only have one place to check to make sure I didn't reuse any songs).

My Roger's page. His name is a reference to Doug and his family ae all named after characters from Batman.



Suzy~ Her mom's name is a reference to High School Musical and her dad's name is a reference to Card Captor Sakura. I don't really have a lot of information on her (as compared to some of my other characters) because most of how I play her is off the cuff. She's way less contrived than my other characters and it kind of makes it easier for me because I feel like her character is more fluid than say, Andrea, who didn't become easy to play until I had hammered out insane gobs of detail about her background.



Andrea. She's my next easiest after Suzy. Gaila's too spoiled for me to play easily and Spock's too emo and Roger's too schmoopily in love with Ryan. But she didn't become easy until after I sat down and made a background for her. Before I did that, it was really difficult for me to play her. With Spock, he came with a certain amount of detail already since I picked him up from Kitty. And Gaila's background just kind of made sense, there wasn't a lot of thinking going on in the creation of that. But I feel a different kind of ownership with Andrea, Suzy, and to a certain extent Roger, because of the planning I've put into their backgrounds. I literally have about the same amount of info for each of those three as I did for the main cast of my last NaNo novel, which I spent months planning. Blah blah blah, that five things bit in the corner was supposed to be a fic but I lost interest.
