1. Best lolita fashion advice you've ever received?
You need to be more confident. You look good, but you don't believe in yourself enough. (This actually seems to be a bit of a problem with my self-concept in general. I always feel awkward and butch and I'd really like to be more ~*~pretty~*~ and ~*~feminine~*~)

2. Style icons?
My friends. Kate, Sarah, Kourtney, Cindy, and Beth (even though she doesn't wear lolita!).

3. Describe your personal style.
Hip classic. Like, a more refined and less-sugary sweet look but with boots and hippos.

4. Favorite designers/brands?
I love Meta, but Juliette et Justine, Mary Magdalene, and Victorian Maiden are also close to the top of my list. I like AP for their designs--not their prints. The "architecture" of their garments is very clean, and I feel like it gets lost when they use OTT prints. I like Baby's basics, but not much else from them.

5. Most cherished items?
Meta Bouquet Set and Marine Special Set. My Bouquet Set was my very first brand, and I fell in love with it as soon as I pulled it out of the box. I currently own it in rose, but I'd like to find the brown and blue versions as well. The Special Set is my go to for when I don't know what to throw on. It's light, so it's great in summer, but it's stretchy, so it's great for layering.

7. I feel best wearing?
My Innocent World Snow White JSK. I feel so elegant~

8. The first thing I look for in another lolita's outfit...
Hem line. If her petti is showing or if it's a homemade dress that's got a wonky hem, my opinion immediately goes down because that's something that is (for me) really obvious and is such an easy fix. Just take a glance in the mirror, girls! Don't leave the house without one last check!!

9. I never break this lolita fashion rule.
I never show my midriff. (Lol, I don't even think that's a rule)

10. Never caught wearing?
OTT sweet lolita. I like looking at it, but I feel like I look young enough as it is without looking like a giant powder puff.

11. Dress to impress who?
The paparazzi in my head.

12. Your next "must have" purchase?
Nothing. I have no money. ;~; If I did, I'd pick up Meta's Swan Chandelier print in whatever I could get my hands on.

13. Favorite type of head accessory?
A hat. I suck at doing hair.

14. Favorite cut of clothing (shirring, high waist, princess seams etc)?
Longer skirts. I love when brands design their dresses or skirts to go past the knee. (Which is ridiculous because I am so short!)

15. Current obsession?
BOOTS. I would kill for more boots.

16. Best lolita fashion advice you can give to anyone?
Be yourself. Yes, it's cute when everybody matches and it absolutely rocks when you get mention on the comm for your fashion sense, but if you are constantly copying someone else, you'll never make a name for YOURSELF. Each "lolita idol" that has achieved fame for how she dresses, has earned her reputation for doing something different and for not being afraid to take a chance. If Minty_mix never put stickers in her hair or sparkles on her face, we would never have the giant mass of sugary sweet lolitas we have now. Listerine_pree takes the most awesome pictures in abandoned buildings. Who says she can't? Lolita doesn't have to be photographed in a field of flowers. She looks awesome and she's inspired hundreds of girls to pick up a new hobby. Just be yourself, and all the fame and reputation that you want will follow.
