So tell me what you think about the health care bill. Not just, "Oh fuck yeah health care reform at last!" but specifically what you like about it and why.

I've downloaded a copy of it from the government's website and will be reading over it myself today and (probably) tomorrow and while I do have my own thoughts I am hoping that a thorough reading of it will assuage any fears and cement my beliefs of it.

So, let me know.

(Please don't ask me why my post on religion gets a Jason Todd icon. Idk why.)

Anyways~ discussed Paine in American Lit today and I had a deism-driven orgasm. He just makes SO. MUCH. FREAKING. SENSE.

This summer I really want to take a logic course. I'd also like to look into visiting the local temple and mosque. I'm going to try to make time to read at least one of Paine's essays now, but I definitely want to tackle his three best known ones by the end of summer. I'm also going to try digesting Descartes and Hawking again. I want to know more about the universe around me and the people who make it up. I want to study others' beliefs so that I can more firmly learn about my own. I'm so excited that I have this opportunity to explore these things. I'd also REALLY love to make a ~pilgrimage~ to Graceland, but financially that won't be happening. :[

Haha, but at least I can do these other things, right? I want to go to the Holocaust, Funeral, and Buffalo Soldiers Museums. I can only progress by learning from the past so that those bad habits are not repeated and so that the good ones endure. It's all very Aristotlian. (Is that even a word? It is now!)

Aw fuck but isn't this Universe beautiful?

I want to gather some pictures of great/famous Deists and make a collage to hang in my room. Maybe I'll get it laminated and use it as a desk mat so that I can always see these great thinkers when I'm doing work.

This summer is going to be all about exploring and cementing my beliefs. I'm really excited about it!

I HAVE FOUND THE ANSWER TO ALL OF THE DISAGREEMENT OVER THIS HEALTH CARE BILL.

GO BUY YOURSELVES A BAG OF PRETZELS THEN GO SIT IN FRONT OF A WINDOW AND MAKE WALRUS FACES AT THE CARS THAT DRIVE BY. YOU WON'T WORRY ABOUT HEALTH CARE ANYMORE. IT IS QUITE REMARKABLE. GO GO GO DO IT!
