So I found out on Sunday that we have two weeks to completely rearrange the entire store or else corporate's shutting us down. I mean, it doesn't come as a complete surprise, I had kind of had the idea that something like that was going to happen, but it feels so different having it confirmed, you know?

I'll be working overnight for the next two weeks, it looks like. Nine pm to five am. Wooo.

Well... actually, it feels kind of nice to be on the overnight crew. I was hand-picked to work that shift. I won't lie... it feels good. It's like, I'm finally getting some sort of acknowledgment for being there for so long.

So, if you were one of the ones hoping to do stuff with me, it'll probably have to wait for a bit. I'm not sure how well I'll adapt to my new schedule, so I don't want to make any promises to anyone that I end up having to break. I'll let you guys know how this whole thing pans out.

I got my new laptop yesterday. :) The UPS lady arrived just before I left for work. I'm sooooo happy. I absolutely love it. It is absolutely grand. I named it Ronald. I'm still working on getting all of my favorite programs loaded onto it and transferring over all of my stuff. I'm also downloading a hell of a lot of music and I've started working on a mix cd for someone's present. :D

For those of you who care, I got an HP "Pavilion Entertainment PC." Or, at least, that's what it says on the packaging. ;) It's kind of funny actually, because my home pc is so old that my laptop is about 10x more powerful than it. Lol.

What's up with you guys lately?

I'm just really busy with Christmas decorating. My grandmother is arriving tomorrow (joy). So I'm going to be kind of frowny for the next few days. But since she's coming down this early, there is a large chance she won't be here for Christmas.

Also, I highly recommend Draco and the Malfoys and The Beets to anyone who needs some new music. I'm thinking of getting a Sendspace account, so if I do, I'm going to start uploading mixes for you guys.
