So there is a cat on my lap right now making it quite difficult to type. Lol. I haven't really posted anything meaningful in a while, so this update is going to be a bit lengthy.

First off, yeah Mark and I did break up, but it's really NBD because I rarely saw him. It was fun while it lasted, but I have absolutely no hard feelings over it. He was a gentleman and I hope that we can continue being friends at a later date. At least I'll be saving on gas, lol.

Lately I've been working quite a bit, saving up for A-kon and trying to pay for petrol. Prices are getting too high for me, I'm seriously considering another job--a third job!! There are kids my age (and older!) who don't even have the one. But I suppose that's what happens when you have as expensive hobbies as I do. :\ I keep trying to convince my mom that it would probably be cheaper for us to just get horses and ride those around, and I think that she's starting to agree with me!

She did the nicest thing for me last night. I got into my truck after work, only to discover she had filled it up for me! I'm going to cook her dinner tonight to thank her for that.

I am looking so forward to A-kon in a week with Sarah and Maddie and Alex. Just the fact that I'm finally going is great. I'm not actually expecting too much from the con itself. I expect it to be a nice con (especially when compared to the last one), but I really couldn't care less if it sucked for some reason! How bizarre...

Once I get back, I've got tickets to see Eddie Izzard with Noske (must figure out where I put those!) and I'm hoping to catch some summer Symphony performances at the CWM Pavillion. The only thing I dislike about their summer performances are how casual they are! I'm just old-fashioned in the fact that I believe you should always dress up for symphony.

I'm also planning on making a HUGE bloomer order from ITS in July. Bloomers are just too handy! I'm going to get at least one in every color they offer, I think. But it really depends on if my reservation for Meta's special set is accepted. I'm sure it will be, but if for some reason it isn't, I'll get extra bloomers to make up for whatever disappointment I'll feel. Anyone else thinking of getting it? I really want to twin with someone!

I was going to post an introspective about this school year as well as an end of term meme, but I never got around to finishing it. At this point, I don't think I will; the moment has passed. Let me know if you'd like to read it though, and I'll post what I've written here.

I don't know...I've been thinking about the future a lot lately. Not distant-future, but close-future. I'm seriously considering transferring a semester earlier than planned. I really just want to go to Schreiner University sooo badly. It's not that I want to leave home, I just really want to go there. But right now I'm nervous about the expenses involved with that. Not just tuition and fees, but the cost to move there and be totally self-sufficient. I could do it, but I wouldn't have the easy life I'm enjoying now. But... There are several perks to going over there early. I would be closer to Ben...and Jaci, since she'll be over there as well. Also, I'm really just dying to be back in Kerrville. I fell in love with the place when I went to visit two years ago (has it really been two years?), and from the moment I heard the name "Schreiner University," something just felt right about it.

The idea has just occurred to me quite recently, within the past few days, but I feel ready to go. However, there just seems to be so many factors to consider. There are so many more opportunities for me here. But....it feels right, and I've never been one to ignore intuition and the movings of the universe before. I'm thinking of perhaps just submitting an app and seeing how it goes? I'm just not sure...

There are too many things I need to do before A-kon. I need to take some things to the cleaners and I need to do laundry. Other things as well. These aren't really things that need to be done FOR A-kon, per se, but things I'd like to get done before leaving, so that I can just come home and relax for a few days.

I'm seeing naive_wanderer on Tuesday, grimy13 on Sunday, and _rayne_sama_ on Thursday. I'm looking forward to that. :)

And now I've forgotten what else I was going to say...lol.

Blech. I should have done laundry earlier today. I'm trying to get dressed for work and have just realized I have NO clean shirts whatsoever. :\
