OMG LIFE!  
Awww geez. Have to go into work tomorrow from eleven to close. But luckily, we are going to be closing early, seven at the latest and possibly even earlier than that. After that Mama and I are going to see Burn After Reading and Enter the Dragon, order a pizza online from Dominoes, and light some sparklers while we wait for the new year to arrive. Once it does, champagne for her and sparkling juice for me.

Today I was supposed to meet Courtney to go shopping for new pants for work since they have suddenly decided to follow corporate's guidelines and make us all wear khakis. She and I are not pleased about that at all. We ended up not meeting; I guess I was stood up (?????) We were supposed to meet at Party City at noon, but she never showed up and never answered her cell phone. :[ Whatevs. I ended up going on a HUUUUGE shopping spree with my mom. I bought an over-door organizer (I know--such a wild woman, n'est pas?), four camisoles from Rue 21, a planner for 2009, a few calendars, a fifty dollar bra (!!!!) that was on sale for much much MUCH less, some books by Stephen Hawking, Descartes, Scott Westerfeld, and Farewell to Manzanar by Jean Wakatsuki Houston. Yeah... I kind of went on a book spree. XD;;

P.C. is closed the first so I'm hoping to do something with Jessica before she leaves (Friday) but I don't really know what I'm up for. Maybe I'll just suggest going out for some coffee + catch-up? Idk... I'm leery of spending a lot of time with some of these people. I was around a lot of people in high school (and earlier) who had a negative impact on me, and regardless of whether they meant to have that sort of effect on me or not, it happened and seeing them makes it painfully simple to fall back into my old habits. I'm trying so hard to be a OMG! ~*~better person~*~ *shine, sparkles* Lol.... seriously though, I'm not comfortable around ANYONE from high school except for... lemme see.... four people. Yeah, I just counted. Sucks, but true. I wish that I could "mesh" better with these people that I have spent the majority of my life with, but it's just not going to happen I don't think.

Let's see.... I'm also hoping to see Kate before she leaves. On that note, my work schedule:

Wed., 12-31: 11a-7:30pm(ish)
Thurs., 1-01: off (free all day except for a short excursion with the above mentioned girl)
Fri., 1-02: 4p-10p(ish)
Sa., 1-03: 8:30a-5:30p (supposed to be 5p but I never get off on time; totally free afterwords, btw)
Su., 1-04: 11:30a-7p(ish)
Mon., 1-05: off
Tu., 1-06: off

I want to pop over to the Galleria on one of my days off to window shop and prance about in loli, so let me know when you guys are up for that. Meetup y/n? I also need to go to school on one of my days off to sign up for classes. I know I'm running SO late on that. *piss moan groan* Whatevs. That shouldn't take too long, I'm crossing my fingers, anyway. I can do stuff after that though.


AAAIE!!! Ted Allen's on Food Network RIGHT NOW!! *squeal* I've missed him sooo much since Queer Eye ended.

Hmmmm...let's see. Christmas presents will be coming shortly. Sorry I'm so late on that. I skipped TiLT last week because I was busy chillaxing with my family like the super chouette people we are. My mom and I burned everything. Duh.... never let us cook. DX

I saw TSO with Bethy on Sunday. Oh. My. Gawd. I told her it was like a religious experience for me, that it was a sort of pilgrimage I made each year. I do feel compelled to see them. I cannot wait until I have Nightcastle within my greedy little hands.
