Title: super + ordinary: A Tale of Your Average Everyday Super Girl

The Novel: *story notes will be added tomorrow 12.01*

**Please keep in mind this is a VERY rough version of it. If you have any questions and need me to clarify something in it, please ask me and I'll answer. Give me some honest c&c so I can do some massive edits on it!!** (also, some of the wording is very awkward and excessively...wordy because I was trying to bump my word count. And I put spaces between all of my hyphens, em dashes, and ellipses to fluff my word count. Sorry, I know it hurts to read it.)
My thoughts on this year: (copied from

I'm going to say that I won..
...even though I didn't. ;)
My final word count for this year's novel is 43 812. It's not even finished yet. I skipped ahead to the last scene just so the last two words that I officially wrote could be "The End" so there's still several scenes I need to write, but I feel great!
This was my third year participating in NaNoWriMo. My first year I went in all bells and whistles, but ended up quitting with a pathetic word count of about 5 000. The next year I was doing quite splendidly and was just a tad behind after the fifteenth, and I certainly had enough time to catch up, but then I had a very near death experience that I am still in some ways recovering from and was unable to finish. My word count that year was somewhere around 22 000.
But this year I wrote my heart out. There were a few days that I was unable to write because of illness, but for the most part I wrote every single day. I dragged my moleskine cahier around with me and hid it under my register and between my school books so I could write while at work and school. I planned the thing excessively before November and had character sketches and bios and some semblance of an outline before the month started. I went in Ready to Win (c).
I wrote my heart out guys. I poured everything I had into this novel. I incorporated every single person who has ever inspired or encouraged me in some way. I kept on writing until the very end, even when I knew I wasn't going to finish. And even as the numbers on my laptop's clock changed from 11:59 to 12:00, I knew that I had won because, for the first time, I kept on writing until the very end. I went down with a glorious fight and all of my spunk and spirit.
I feel great.
Congratulations to all of you who have won or are about to win.
To those of you who haven't: it's not the end of the world. Turn around and look back on what you have done this month. Do you think you could have done it any other time? You just wrote (most of) a novel! Most people won't even bother to attempt that in their lifetimes! You've already surpassed them by not giving up and trying up until the very end. And now, you know what to do so that you will finish it next year. You will finish it, and you will WIN. And then you and I can relish together in the sheer awesomeness of it all.
So even if you're word count's below the idolized and highly sought-after 50 000, congratulations. We made it to the finish line. We may be missing a few limbs and articles of clothing, but WE MADE IT.
High five.
