(in no particular order)

1. The Shining

The original one with Jack Nicholson. Just. Classic.

2. The Skeleton Key

Scared the shit out of me. It honestly had me in tears.

3. Freaks

Circus freaks.

4. Nosferatu

Original Dracula movie. AMAZING. Waaay ahead of its time.

5. The Hills Have Eyes

Made me never want to go on a road trip

6. A Nightmare on Elm Street

Proves you are NEVER safe.

7. Misery

There is always something so frightening about a crazed fangirl....in the book she refuses to die...It's so great.

8. The Exorcism of Emily Rose

Had to sleep with my mom after watching this one.

9. Rose Red

Made me hate old houses...

10. Saw

Mastefully done. Brilliant twist

Here's a "preview" of sorts of my NaNo project this year:

Title: From One Devil to Another
Genre: Suspense/Thriller

Through letters to her best friend, Abigail struggles with a difficult decision made in her past.

"Probably the toughest time in anyone's life is when you have to murder a loved one because they're the devil."

-Emo Philips

"Murder is born of love, and love attains the greatest intensity in murder."

-Octave Mirbeau

"True friends stab you in the front."

-Oscar Wilde

"The difference between friendship and love is how much you can hurt each other."

-Ashleigh Brilliant

"To like and dislike the same things, that is indeed true friendship."

-Sallust

"Sometimes the measure of friendship isn't your ability to not harm but your capacity to forgive the things done to you and ask forgiveness for your own mistakes."

-Randy Milhulland
